Default Bed box lock question

I bought a new used bed box at a local swap meet and mounted it in the bed. I payed $20 for it, so it was well worth it but it has no keys. I called the company who makes it and they have no idea they ever made bed boxes... (Made by "Rubber Queen") So, anyone have any ideas on how to get a key for it, or new locks to fit it?

yea, i actually just got a new one for my box cause it didnt come with the key either. i got one for 5 bucks from a local hardware store. I think its called a cam lock. you might have to swap out the cam for the old one or something for it to work correctly. easy though and now i feel better

Ya just remove the old one and try to buy a new one. Or take the lock to a locksmith and have them cut you a key for it.

Ok, now I just gotta figure out how to get it out. I pulled the nut and cam, and theres a crimped on looking piece behind that... and I'm not sure how to get it apart, there isn't much room where this thing is stuffed.

Ok, nevermind, looking at it clearly it just pushes in... and it helps to remove the handle, though it is a bit of a pita. $13 and 30 minutes later, I have 2 matched keyed locks installed and 4 keys. Yay for a locking toolbox to keep people out of my stuff!
Thanks guys.
