New to the forum...

I have a 1996 Dakota with the 4 CYL with 5 speen MAN. i know the coolant temperature sensor is on the head on the drivers side at the back.. i can only find one wire that plugs in to it. the sensor have to pins on it.. does any one know were the 2nd wire goes? a pic would help allot..

Are you sure you got the correct sensor?
96 is the first year of the new Jeep 4cly. I would suggest to try maybe a 97 or 98 Dakota. Sometimes they don't have lists updated correctly.
