Default oil pressure gauge

I have a 88 wiith the 3.9 and I've noticed that when I shut truck off both gas gauge and oil pressure gauge don't move. But gas gauge works. Any ideas?

Try when you turn it off, try turn it back to on (engine off) and see if if it updates it self.

The diaphram may be sticking on the oil sensor, but it does not drain with the key off. As far as the fuel guage, as mentioned, it will correct itself per resistance.
