95 dakota making wuring noise

Default 95 dakota making wuring noise

once i get up to about 25-30mph it starts to make a wuring sound and it gets faster, what could it be?

If its a 5 speed it could be out of oil or the rearend. Does the pitch change with the speed, on and off the gas.

auto, checked the rear, it's full. could it be the transfer case?? Does the transfer case do anything in 2wd? i havn't checked in 4wd.

Fan Clutch when it is fully locked. If it goes away after you get air blowing ower the radiater then this is probably the problem. If this is the problem and it doesnt go away then you could have a bad fan clutch
