don't drop it and make it a crummy useless truck please. it totally defeats the purpose of owning a truck.

I'll have to go against you Crazy and 95red. There are many reason and a lot of people who are lowering our vehicle's. Not everyone want a rig rocket here, "except everyone in my town." I feel that lowering my vehicle allowed me to turn sharper and gave my vehicle a more muscle truck vibe. Which does follow our heritage from the original little red truck back in the late 80's and eventually the shelby dakota, our little red express, warlock dakota and so on and so forth. Though sceneking if your wanting to "bag" this vehicle, I would go to a different site, or try a different vehicle like a s-10 or a car. Though like crazy mentioned the FAQ has lots of details for our vehicles and actually this site is one of the better sites for knowledge on "mopar only" information. Expecially involving a first gen dakota. Well good luck on your drop spindles, also they will probably run you about 450 a piece.

lol. thanks T.C. , i would like to bag it, but i'm just going to simpler spindle and block drop. im too tired of seeing crummy s.10's and ford rangers being dropped, ill have the only dodge in my city, and also, ive had offers from my friends for my truck already, for the fact my dodge isnt what they normally see being dropped. haha,
@RED- it being a 2wd, its pointless jacking it up and dragging it through the mud like i would love to do. lol

trust me sceneking your stock truck can do most of what a 4wd can do. I keep up with jeeps all the time in the phoenix desert in my manual dakota v6 and get dirty looks because they dropped tons of money into something and my $630 truck can do the same thing. These trucks are very under rated by lots of people. the only things my truck can't handle is very large rocks and water. its a very sad story on how i figured out it doesn't like water very much. the only mod my truck has is 235/75/15 tires that give my truck a semi-aggressive stance(they rub on full lock steering).

edit- i guess the stock size is 235/75/15 but my door says 195 is the stock size anyone know which one is right?

re-edit- that is the max size for stock height on the faq2 i need to read more thoroughly next time....

Western Chassis and Belltech both used to make them. Not sure anymore.

I plan on dropping mine as far down as it will go. Maybe bag it.
