bumper questions
So I got a buddy who agreed to make me some custom tube bumpers as long as I get all the materials but idk what kind of metal I should get or what I should do about the mounts any clues??
Figure out what you want in the bumper first.
Need to mount a winch?
Need to have a grill guard or a HD push bar?
Need to have lights recessed in?
Need to have a HD bumper that can go head on with a train?
Spend sone time on Google searcing images of bumpers you like. See what thickness of metal they use. 1/4in is great but can be too heavy if it is a large bumper.

Well I really like the 2, 3in tubes and maybe a bull bar made in I've seen that mostly on Jeeps I'm getting a new back bumper done too cuz my current one has a narly Dent but I want it to be strong enough I could use it to be a push bar if seriously needed and strong enough to hold me up and when I get it stuck to be able to be pulled out by ether side.. the Guy who's doing it is great at welding and very smart so he has no shortage of talent I just need to know what to get and were
I'm wantin something that replaces my entire bumper with a new one with a brush guard and push bar integrated with it, like this thing

Your going to have to sketch a custom one and fabricate it (assumably from your friend). 3/16" tubing is plenty strong, and using 1/4" plate or channeled 3/16" plate will be apropriate for attaching to your chassis. You can use your old bumper and clips as a template to build off of.
The link you posted has a few "extras" associated with it. Doable, but figure around 3-400.
