Default Hello

Just thought I'd start a post after joining this forum. I just purchased a 93 4x4 extended cab with the 3.9 and auto tranny. A better replacement for the 88 2wd short cab that the wife dropped in a ditch (different story for a different day) I have to thank the forum members for helping me solve the dreaded no fuel guage issue, double solved after replacing the fuel pump..... twice. I also had issues with the bulkhead plug on the firewall, the spades corroded for the in cab power, so I've had that apart a few times cleaning and replacing spades. But what has brought me to join and post (instead of just lurking) is after all the work with the pump and fuel guage, I seem to have lost the oil pressure guage. I am fairly sure the sending unit is working as it was working just fine before all the work and I have this sneaking suspicion that I bent a spade or it backed out of the plug while cleaning. All I really need is to figure out what wire is for the guage and I can dive back in with a little more confidence.

The truck has a few more issues but I'll save them for later posts and later days as they are just annoying and not as important. Sorry if I'm going on too long ... I don't usually get so wordy.

Welcome to DF!

As far as which wire it is, we have the wiring diagram in the service manual that is free to download in the FAQ in this section (Just a few posts above this one)

Thank you .... looking now if I had put down the coffee cup a little more I might have found it. And it is more than I was looking for but will be well used!

On to the next issue ... but I will start a new post after searching a little bit better.
