Last Saturday I replaced the control arm on my drivers side. This is what the old one looks like. The ball joint that my boyfriend replaced in it was the wrong one (thank you auto zone) and according to everything I had read was not supposed to be replaced separate. I let him do it and the ball joint slipped out a week later. It was not as bad as I thought...
looks like the right balljoint for that application... sometimes the threads in the control arm strip... though I would not give you a nickel for AZ sourced suspension parts.

When I compared it to the old one and passenger side it is COMPLETELY different. It sat up a good inch higher then it was supposed to. I have other pictures to show all the damage to the control arm but it was a pain to upload that one..... But no one else is touching my truck anymore....
Whenever i get parts from AZ i always have them double check the part numbers or i bring the part numbers with me i got tired of always running back and forth...ball joints suck btw!
