I have a 1993 dakota and tonight when i got in it and drove it about 3 miles i noticed the interior lights wouldn't turn off. Made sure both doors were closed tight and it still wouldn't turn off. Drove the 3 miles with them on got home with it took the negative cable off my battery so it wouldn't die. Have no idea about this need help.

 

Lol... So i figured out my problem. Had a good buzz last night so I was just thinking I didn't want to deal with it. I let my friend drive to his house apparently he had something to prove with drinking or something but we were in the same neighborhood and had to go less than half a mile so i was like alright(plus he kinda just jumped in the driver seat). He turned my head light dimmer switch all the way up past the click for the interior lights for the past 8 months of owning this thing I didn't know it did that. So you live and you learn lol..

 

About a week after I bought my truck when I was 15 yrs old I was putting in an aftermarket radio and did the same thing. I was scared to death that I wired something wrong and it would catch on fire or something. I pulled the battery cable and had it towed to a shop. Luckily the shop didn't charge me anything as my parents had used them for years.
