Default My dodge

So, I'm new to this page. I recently bought me a dodge Dakota. First gen. 1987 and it's a bad ***. Runs like a king. But.. I do have certain questions I'd like answered if anyone can. But welcome me.

How many miles to a gallon does my Dakota get? Stupid question.. I know. But just asking.
What parts would I need to convert my dodge to a automatic? Not going to anytime soon, just wondering.

why not just trade trucks? looks like you are both even in the same town,,,, save both of ya alot of work; both '87s both should be worth about the same money owner of auto trans truck wants a stick, while the owner of stick truck wants an auto.... no brainer

Welcome! Personally I would want to keep the stick and get another dak that was automatic lol. Already toying with the idea of getting the misses a 96' with a 318 and possibly putting a hemi in it :3
