Default Dakota Overdrive issue

im having a problem with my truck not going into overdrive...1993 dodge dakota, 6 cyl..i just replaced the speed sensor and it did not make any difference...i also dont have cruise control...so if the speed sensor is new, what should i try next to get my overdrive to engage? i have also checked the fuse and it is good...please advise..thanks

You may have bad wiring or a bad OD off switch. Get a mulitimeter and test each wire in the circuit.
