Default Engine swap

What all would you have to replace if any to swap a v6 for v8

pretty much just have to use the wiring harness from the v-8 and the computer

For the Magnum motors it is easy, the V8 is a direct bolt on. All you need is a complete Magnum V8 and PCM and just need to add in 2 more injector wires to the engine harness. The V6 transmission will bolt up but wont last as long behind the V8. Dodge didn't put them behind the V8 for a reason.

Well I got a bad year.cause the transmission that I have was a tester and the only put it in 1992 and 93 dakota and a few jc jeeps.i some teeth on my old one pulled it out of the mud bout never find a new one

It's a 42rh if you have the auto and v6, if its a stick then its the AX-15. It's not a tester year they used the ax15 till 96 and the 40 series RH till 95'.

Yea just grab a 318 with a trans too. It will be the 46RH. Have a transgo shift kit instaled as well as an aftermarket trans cooler.
