Does the rack and pinion fit???

Hello guys I need a quick questioned answer. Does a 97 dodge Dakota rack and pinion fit and it a feasible replacement for my 92 rack and pinion. Both are 2wd. Will this work?

As a direct bolt on I would have to say no. But with some modification maybe. If your trying to get a replacement stick with 92-96. I think the early years had a slightly different version.
