Default Tranny help/advice locating a kit

Greetings,

First thanks to all for the help, since the tranny issues keep getting weirder and weirder, now first slipps and it shifts into second and third but still no reverse, and it still drives in neutral and trys to in park.

I have decided to pull it and rebuild it.

first problem I have checked www.naparts.com, I have bought engine kits from them and lots of other parts over the years and they are great. unfortunately they don't have a kit for a 1988 Dodge A998 tranny. Summit racing has one but it's $224 and builds a tranny that is race ready.

Any body know who sells kits for a A998 3 spd with double wrap kickdown.

thanks

Jake

Look for a 904 kit from '72-later, like one of these. Or search for another one, might be able to find them cheaper.
