Default Throttle Body Spacer

has anyone ever put a throttle body spacer on a 318 5.2 in a dakota? just curious how much they helped with power/fuel efficiency.

They are useless on fuel injected engines.

Not entirely true. They are of some value on throttle body injected engines because they help mix the fuel and air as it enters the intake. On multi-port fuel injection, though, there's no fuel to mix.
