1994 Dakota Sport 4WD light doesn't work

just purchased this used '94 dakota sport w/5.2 engine. what front axle does it have, looks like it's a solid chrysler?

The front will be a Chrysler 7.25. The rear should be a Chrysler 8.25 if it has an oval diff cover. The Chry 7.25 has a small octagon shape cover.
I will move this to the 1st generation Dakota sub-section.

If its stock its going to be Independent Front Suspension
The Dakotas never came with solid fronts sadly
