Default Who has the supply?

Hi Everybody,

I have a 1995 Dakota 4WD 5.2L and I love the truck. I would like to make sit higher though and I'm not really the kind of guy who whants to just do a body lift or a leveling kit. Does anyone know where I can find a 4" or 6" lift for my truck without doing a solid axel swap or taking a loan out of the bank to buy a lift? Also if I go four or 6 inches will that be too much for my CV joints?

Thanks
Cody

There are no lift kits for the 1st generation Dakota anymore.

Your only choices is to get a 2in body lift and get indexed torsion bar keys/anchors (lift keys). Then get Add A Leafs for the rear. $200 or so for all for 4in of lift.

The 4in Suspension lift which is no longer made or avialible was over $2,000. So 4in for under $200 you can't beat that.

Check the FAQ2 in this section (just a few posts above this one in the stickies) where you will find more lifting ideas and where to buy parts.

Default thanks

or maybe I see if I can find myself a rolling Chassis for a Ram 1500 since kits are all over the place for those. Then build a 360 and mount my body onto that
