Default No brake lights

I have a 1994 Dakota 5.2 2wd and about 3 weeks ago it stop running. This was because behind the driver side tire I found about 9-10 wires that were bad the green one was broken and that powers the fuel pump, but I don't know what the others do. So last night I was told my brake lights aren't working and want to know if any of those wires can be the problem. Thanks Jason

first off remember i am old school. generally all or most of the lights in the rear of the truck go through the turn signal switch under the steering wheel. check it out. do NOT take the steering wheel air bag with out reading up on it. or best have someone else do it.

Is there a way to test the turn signal switch?

Best way to test if those bad wires is your problem is to fix it, everyone. We have the wiring diagrams in the factory service manual in the FAQ in this section.
