Default engine stalling on cold start up

1988 dodge dakota 3.9L,TBI, 5-speed tranny, all original. On cold mornings, motor will not stay running, after the motor does warm up, it stays running, smooth idle..(afterwards during braking motor idles down and stalls out. while sitting still, not in motion, braking doesnt effect idle only when in motion,(25mph) or higher. Im thinking bad choke and/or float. Not sure if I have a electric choke or a vacuum choke.....HELP !!!

No there is no choke on a fuel injected motor. Most likely it is the Idle Air Control motor or stepper motor (I think that is what the early years called them).
