Default Gauges all suck

What gives dodge? All my gauges are out to lunch.

My coolant gauge never goes past 1/3 even though I have hot air and hot fluids.

My fuel gauge might as well be drawn on with crayons with how inaccurate it is.

What can I do to get accurate readings for these two very important things?

Coolant gauge might be just the normal location. If you have a lower temperature thermostat then stock which is 195 then it would read lower. If you want you can change the sensor which is $10 or so. Keep in mind the Magnum motors used 2 sensors 1 for the gauge and 1 for the PCM. Check the FAQ in this section for pictures of the locations.

The fuel gauge is probably a bad sending unit or incorrectly placed if it was ever installed. Again check the FAQ in this section for a write up on this problem.
