Hi, I have a 1990 dodge dakota 4x4 v6 3.9l and im looking to get a electric cooling fan. Im going to the junk yard in a few days so I need to know what vehicle I can pull one off of and for it to directly fit.
Thanks, sYnced.

I got one for a 99/2000 Ford Contour V6. Running with a Flex a Lite controller. It's been in traffic in 85 degree weather here, with the a/c on and seems to keep the engine heat under control pretty well. I'm using it on a 96, 4x4, automatic, V8. The fan set (there are two of them in the setup) is a pretty good fit, covers almost all of the back of the radiator except for about the bottom 3 inches or so. The fans are designed to come on separately, but the controller doesn't have circuitry for separate cooling and a/c fans. So when the controller kicks, both fans come on. (I had to fabricate the wiring.)

Fans are available on Ebay, I paid $47 shipped or so for some imported, new in box fans. The fan controller was from Amazon, works very well (a/c or 195 op. temp will kick the fans on,) temp range is adjustable, and was about $100, shipped. The fan controller is very well designed, imho.
