well turns out the nv3500 i have is out of a newer ram or dakota cause the shift tower comes up and hits the bottom of my dash in my 92 dak would i be able to swap the shift tower out of my 95 nv3500 dak if not what can i do. cause i cant even shift cause thats how up in my dash it is plz help.

 

The tower doesn't change the shifter location, you have a Ram tranny, the shifter location is further forward.

 

can you swap the shift towers on them ?

 

The ram shifted is taller than the dakotas shifter. I ran a ram shifter in my 93 but I had to modify it to work
