Default Need help locating wiring harness

I need to replace my melted engine harness in my '90 w/3.9l.

Other than making a new one form scratch, does anybody know where I can locate one?
Local salvage yards don't have any, and i don't have any kind of part number, so internet searches aren't really turning up much
Thanks for any help.

best bet would be to find someone parting out a dakota(pre-92) and get the harness from it...or find someone you don't like who has one and "permanently borrow" theirs...lol

^ pretty much. A junkyard or parts truck will be your only option as these are not made, not sure if they ever were.

i had to get one from a junkyard for my 93 a few years ago and as luck would have it my brand new wrench snapped on the last bolt need to free the whole harness. with only 10mins to close and sears being 2 towns over i had to cut the harness in half. anyway long story short i had to splice the wires back together and ended up crossing 2 wires and having to tear the whole harness apart again.
