Question Brake Lights

I have a 94 v8 SLT and i recently replaced the drivers side headlight and turn signal assembly and now every light is working except when i press the brakes, ive checked all the fuses and have rewired the connection to the rear lights and still no brake lights no matter what? Also im not sure if it would play a factor but im currently having slight starter troubles as well? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

had a similar problem. When you push the hazard button do the lights work. If not try having the hazard pushed in and then press the brakes.

No clue why but it worked that way on mine. Give it a shot.

not sure which one but its best to go through one at a time till you find the right one. i recently had to do this because my truck pcm was grounding through the brake lights.

Exclamation Brake Lights Update

I recently posted about my 94 Dakota v8 having issues with the brake lights not coming on after numerous attempts to fix, ive checked the fuses, the bulbs, ive changed the brake light switch, ive checked the ground, and ive also checked the wires to the brake light switch with a voltage tester and got multiple odd readings. My hazard lights and my tail lights work so what else could it be??
