Default Suspension Issues?

hey guys i'm new to the forum and was wondering if someoneo on here has run into a similar issue as me. i just bought a 93 Dakota 3.9L V6 2wd and when i go over bumps there is a metal banging sounds coming from the front end. When i look under there it looks like the upper control arm is sitting/resting on the frame. Also the coils around the shocks are bent a little. Could this be from tires being too big? or something I have no clue, its real annoying and any info would help. Thanks.

I had the same issue and it turned out to be my motor mounts. DO you get a bang when you rev the engine in neutral?

no, I am 99% sure that it is the upper control arms hitting the frame over bumps. Its like the wheel cannot flex all the way down because the frame is in the way.? I dk. so confused.
