I Have a 93 I did a 2" body lift to I cut the notchs out on the shifter boot but I can't keep it in 4 low it pops out. Is my case bad? I looked at it with the boot off and its not hitting anything seems like it not going fully into 4 low.

 

Most likely the adjustment rod on the shifter needs adjusting, see the FAQ in this section (just a few posts above this one) for a write up on it.
