Default High oil pressure

Got a 95 with the 3.9 mag. Had it about 2 yrs. Well as I have read I've had some normal problems , gas gauge didn't read correct till fuel pump went out 2 pumps later all is fine. Pinging like it's out of time but no way to change (thanks to computer stuff ) have switched back and forth between low and high octane ( sometimes help with hi oc but not always) but now all of a sudden I'm reading very high on the oil pressure ( gauge reads low/ high with a curved line between so far hasn't gone past the line into high but runs right there) seems to drop normally as rpms drop. Ping seems to also have gone away even using 87 oct. gas. Has something just cleared a blockage or do I have a problem I need to worry about???????

Thanks
Mike

For the pinging it is pre-detention, which is the typical result of a bad intake manifold plenum gasket, the 2nd gen Ram has a great write up on it. Higher octane gas and a colder range spark plug helps but hides the true problem.
