318 swap transmissions

I have a 89 Dakota I purchased a 84 ram 2wd with a remanufactured 318 the block has 85 stamped on it. What I need to know is what would be the best transmissions and transfer case combos to use are?

I'm not to familiar with what the early years came with, but the V8's came with a 46rh which is a great option for you. 92-95 Ram Dakota, Ram van.
