looking for some answers
hey guys i currently own a 1994 Dakota 5.2 v8 2wd. i have read a few treads on here about lift kits for my make and model, and it doesnt look good. i was just wondering if i wold be able to use a lift off a 1994 1500 ram since they are basically the same truck. i know some fab work might have to be done but just want to know if you guys have done this or know of anyone who has and how it turned out. i eventually want to build a trophy truck out of my truck and go to baja and i think a nice lift is a good start. if you have any info it would be greatly appreciated. if i got a leveling kit for now until i found something to work what shocks would i need to go with the kit? sorry for all the questions

They have completely different size suspensions, so no it wont work.
For 2wd it is easy and cheep. Get 2 or 3 one inch coil spring spacers for each side up front (around $10 each). For the rear get an Add A Leaf kit ($50-70). Also get a 2in body lift it says 4wd only but it works for 2wd with adding in a spacer onto the steering shaft ($90-100). 4-5in of lift for around $200, that is a darn good deal. You can get all from www.summitracing.com
