Default 89 dakota 318...

ok so far ive took the carb off the 3.9. found a engine hoist to swap the engines out. recently ive bought a whole engine harness out of a dakota 318 the same year model but it was a d250 engine. will the engine harness swap over that i got from the dakota? its a 93 magnum engine. I was thinking of putting some headers on the engine while it was out but i don't want shorty headers i want long tube has anyone ever did that on this style and with a 318 will it fit?

So you have a 89 Dakota was 3.9 V6 right? It wouldn't have a carb it would have been fuel injection.

Next your new motor is a 318 which you say it is the same year as your truck which is 89 and then you say it is a 93 Magnum engine.

I'm a little confused, but either way your stock wiring harness will not be a plug and play, you will have to figure out each wire and splice it all together yourself.

Can we trade harnesses? I have a complete 93 D350 harness with all the plugs, and you have the exact harness I need for my 93 dak lol
