Default v6 to v8 swap speedo question

I have a 95 DAK with a v6, I picked up a donor 94 with a v8, I am installing the v8 into my 95, however the 95 came with a electric speedo control, The donor motor uses a cable driven speedo. In order to keep a clean install i am using the v8 harness with the v8 motor, because i plan on re installing the v6 into the other truck and selling it.

Any ideas how to wire the V8 harness to use the electronic Speedo sending unit?

thanks

The speed sensor is swappable.

94>95 and vise versa is a direct plug in swap. some new speed sensors though have a different pigtail so you may have a different plugin. If youre swapping harnesses and all though everything will be the same as youre taking the harness with the engine.
you go 93 and below and you gotta swap speed sensors (1, 1/2"-headed bolt) as 93 still had a speedo cable along with the electronic feed to the brain.
