transfer case problem ?

Default transfer case problem ?

hi guys well it turns out that the tranny was bad in my new dakota so i got a reman from adavance auto put it in along with a new clutch but when i drive it now i hear like a bearing grinding or whirring and it clicks when i shift some times it fells like my transfer case is beat as well it fells like it had a lot of play and slack in it. i can turn the output yoke for the front driveshaft on the t case back in fourth and i can get it to clank i do have it out untill i figure out this problem im thinking chain slack as well dose any of this makes sence could it be all from the t case cause if the new tranny is bad im going to be pissed pls give me a shout back thanks

any slack in the chain in the transfer case will sound like a chain dragging on the ground. have you checked fluid levels?

goot point no i havent buta chain dragging dose sound like it a bit what dose the t case take for fluid
