Default General issues/questions

Hey guys, new to this site but I love all of the info that's been collected here. I just got a 1996 Dakota Sport a couple of months ago and I'm fixing the things that are bugging me the most.

One is the seatbelt indicator light stays on the entire time, whether or not I have mine buckled.

Two is my oil pressure guage, it stays slightly past halfway and will not move at all with the engine reving. The only time it moves is when I start the truck in which it goes to the same position, and when I turn the truck off, which it moves to zero.

I know I have more problems that I can't think of, but these really are great trucks and I'm going to make this one last. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Probably you need a new oil pressure sender. Cheap to replace.

You can fix the seatbelt indicator light with a piece of electrical tape (just cover the light over with tape.)
