I just put on a new timing chain and a harmonic balancer on my 1990 v6 Dakota. The balancer is rotating smoothly but the drive pulley wobbles just enough to create a burr under my saddle. The parts stores, Autozone, Napa, Oreillys, etc, can't get'em. The dealer part # is 3870074, but they can't get it, either. I could get a junk yard replacement, but would rather get a new one.

Anyone know where to get a new stock or performance replacement?

BTW, there are a couple of old threads on this, but all suggestions lead to defunct web sites.

 

Nevermind. After further review, my new harmonic balancer had a burr on the surface that would not let the crank pulley seat properly. The file on my leatherman multitool fixed it.
