Overdrive Button Issue

Default Overdrive Button Issue

i recently had my dash apart and had the over drive switch unhooked. i noticed soon after that the tranny doesn't wanna shift around 60. running about 3000rpm. the overdrive light is stuck on after me trying to play around with it. any ideas??

Sounds like you don't have overdrive anymore. Button is permanently pressed or wires got crossed. Disassemble, check, replace or fix, reassemble.

Yeah, that thing is tricky! I just had mine out too, replacing headlight switch, and OD switch surprised me by being so fragile and hard to get back in the right way.

did you have an issue with the OD switch after?

Well, not so far, but, today, me transmission did change a bit strange. Thinking it is the linkage, which I also worked n and have had trouble with before.
