So I found this guy selling his dakota with the suspension lift kit on only one problem with this truck.. It was in an area that got flooded and sat in water for atleast 3 and a half weeks.. He said the water was over the cab for a week.. He's asking 750 should I jump on it or wait to see if he drops the price

Salt or fresh? Either way, the engine, transmission, axles, exhaust system, gas tank and interior will need attention (at the very least). Oh, and the electrical system.

What are you looking to use the truck for? Just the parts for the lift?

Fresh water but filled with mud and nasty stuff. And yes engine and tranny are done I'm assuming 90% of electrical will be shot. Ya just the lift that's been on the truck for 8 ish years so I Dono how easy any thing will come off even with oil and a torch.. Seems like a decent chunk of money for a gamble

Yah, not worth it. A decade-old lift kit that has been who knows how thrashed, followed by a long period of nasty submersion.

What do you think would be a good number to gamble? 300 buck?

Do those lift kits use standard Dakota ball joints and bushings or are there custom ones in there? If you are able to replace all the wear items and you can get it for cheap say go for it. If there are some custom ball joints and bushings though check with trail master if you can get replacements.
