Default coil spacers vs new springs?

Planning on getting a bit of lift on my truck next weekend. Get paid on the 20th for 120 hrs. Was just wondering what others thing would be better. Coil spacers or a brand new set of v8 coils for my v6 truck. I know some have said the v8 coils should give it about 2 inchs of lift and I can pick up the spacers or coils with about a 10$ difference. I figured replacing the worn springs would be better anyway and It's the same amount of work.

You're doing the work anyway, don't skimp over 2 beers' worth of money!

Why not both!

real question though, i havent been able to find a specific set of V8 vs V6 springs.. I'd like to do the same to my truck but i dont know which spring I would need to order! I can easily find the ones for a V6 but when i search for the V8s in autozone or another catalog nothing comes up as an exact match..

lol I don't want both. just trying to get an even look right now and be able to get slightly taller tires. Not getting crazy on a 2wd. Might start looking for a 4wd frame soon.

My local advance auto stocks moog suspension parts and shows different part #s for the v6 and v8 springs and has more of an option for the v8 springs i.e. oem, variable rate and a few others although the oem and variable rate are the only ones that look like they will work as the others look like they start to taper towards the bottom based on the pic. I will take some measurements when I go in to look at them to make sure.

v8 moog brand oem spring set part # 639
v8 moog brand variable spring rate set part # cc616
