So I bought a set of Sylvania xtravision (the one above stock) bulbs for my truck the other night because walmart had them on clearance for 15$ for the set. They are slightly brighter that what I had but I also had old bulbs. My passenger was a Sylvania marked with 8/92 which was when my truck was being produced so I think it was a bulb original to my truck?

So as far as the high dollar sylvanias, the silverstar ultras. Do they make any difference in our trucks?

 

A retrofit is your best choice given your year vehicle. It's placing a projector inside your headlight.

Have thought about doing this and even read up on someone who did it to one of these style daks. Just not a necessity right now. Hell I should be saving $$$ to go back to school but I just can't help spending a few bucks on my truck.

 

About how much do you think it would be for everything to do the retrofit though.
