Default Interested in where to find bucket seats

I have the 94 v6 Magnum with a bench. I'm short and don't like the feeling of leaning back when I relax into the seat. I'd like to get some Dakota buckets and a center console.
On the same topic does anyone know if I will have to modify the cab for the buckets or is it made to fit both styles?

The wrecker. Or find someone parting one out on Craigslist.

Have a look at the Gen 1 FAQ's. There are a couple or so entries on bucket seats.

Thanks Brian, I saw that. It is reporting on successful mods.
I will probably have to find a conversion sheet that shows what seats from other cars fit the 94 Dakota or go all new and maybe change the brackets.
It will take a miracle based on what I have found so far to find a decent pair of factory buckets with a matching console.

Yeah, I would think so. They weren't put in many Dakotas I think. Mine's top of the line 96 and it doesn't have bucket seats or either console (referring to the roof console, too.)

The BMW seats conversion was intriguing, tho. And one could probably build or convert a decent console.

I've found some interesting info. I have a regular cab and the Buckets only came with Extra cabs. Talking to the right junk yard man helps & adding that info to the search helped a lot.
One guy says he put Dodge Shadow buckets in his, says they are a direct fit. Claims there is already the center mounting nut holes under the carpet.
Also Durango seats seem to be a common crossover use. I saw some sweet pics of leather Durango seats and console in a 94 Dakota.
I'm low on funds and have other house projects to do so I'm gonna concentrate on getting the tranny and rest of it running right for the winter and worry about the seats and other stuff later. The bench is like new I just don't like it because my legs are short.
