currently I have a 318, auto, 4wd truck. I can't find a 318 5 speed 4wd anywhere around me and need to get the truck running by winter. I found an nv3500 off a 360 and was wondering if the v6 flywheel was the same and if I could use it with the nv3500. The trans comes with a new clutch kit for a 360 ram, will that work on the 318 or v6 flywheels?

 

no the v6 flywheel will not work(dont ask me how i found out). the v6 flywheel has 9 notches in it for the crank position sensor and the v8 has 8(?). not sure about the clutch kit but just to note that the ram master cylinder won't give enough throw to disengage the clutch on a dakota(i found out the hard way.
