No spark

have a 1992 dodge dakota 3.9 v-6....installed a new long block but don't have spark to the plugs.... help please at g7769@yahoo.com

Welcome to the site. Take a volt meter and test for voltage at the coil pack or distributor

Pull out a test light and a volt meter. Test power to Ignition coil. Make sure it is in spec. Head over to your distributor cap and make sure it's working properly. If it's not, remove the cap, and check to make sure the rotor is spinning when you are cranking. Start there.
