water pump leaks but it doesn't look like it is coming from around gasket or any hoses. took pump off but can't really see where leak is coming from. fan is not loose.
Also how do i get fan off pump? doesn't bolt on to pump with screws. has one big nut in front of pully.
any help would be appreciated.

I just had this issue today with my water pump. It may be coming from the weeping hole, which would indicate that the pump is on it's way out.

Mine was leaking at the gasket, but for 40$ I figured I may as well replace the entire water pump. I actually took mine to a shop though, it started to mess up at a bad time, and I needed it fixed immediately. The book calls for 3 hours of labor, luckily the mechanic only charged me for 2.
