Default rim question

trying to find out backspace/offset ect. difference between my stock 92 Dakota 15X6 and the 99 or so Durango 15X8 .. basically wondering if it will stick the tire further out or further in which would be bad ... LOL

either im google illiterate or just not entering search right..lol

second will the 15x8 fit without spacers or will I need spacers (the second gen 5/10 spoke rim)

this is the od part.. but I know this is dodge and nothing is ever the same but I just pulled 4 15x8's off a 1992 Dakota 4x4 (green , maybe colour matters if it fits? LOL , it is a dodge..HAHAHA ) with 31/10.5/15(tires are done) were originally from a Durango(previous boss I worked for) for 50 bucks :O and they are almost perfect condition

now I checked everything on the truck for mods ect.. seen nothing different then my truck anyway cept im higher off the ground :O But just cause it fit one don't mean will fit another , I know the center cap might not fit( fit fine on this one tho) read online some had to trim edge of control arm a hair for lock to lock steering, but I cant go end to end anyway since tires touch frame , tomany mixed stories so I guess its hit or miss:O

but id still like to know the difference in backspace and offset (15x8) from my original 15X6 to see if it will bring tire inward or outward since im pushing very close to leafsprings right now with my 33/12.5/15 on stock 6 wide rims .. and the 35's I know will show wider on a 8 wide rim, then the 33's on original 6 wide rim

Default Your rims

I did this to my 93 dakota if you take a file to your banjo bolt but take alittle at a time you can make them work. Don't ake alot at a time you will ruin the bolt kinda round the head od the bolt with out taking the hex sides off.

1/4 inch spacer is all you need. all the way around. 4x4 will scrap the brake line bolt, 2wd will hit the control arm while turning. get spacers and you will be fine all the way around with no shaving bolts or anything.
