What parts do I change on the front end?
1994 Dakota 2wd 3.9L V6
I'd like to change all the joints, rubber bits and shocks as I don't think they have been done since it was new. OEM is just fine unless there was some noticeable lack in the OEM design.
I haven't done it before but I'm mechanical and have access to this site, youtube, and my Hanes manual.
I just did new front hub assemblies and changed the bearings, calipers, pads. Bled them myself with the tube/bottle method.

I left it open too wide. :-) My Bad.
I was thinking there would be a kit for the usual stuff.
I suppose I have to read some more to make sure I know all the parts and then look it over. Nothing feels like its in bad shape. It just feels old.

from age of vehicle:
cab mounts
control arm bushings if you can find em without replacing entire arm
motor mounts/tranny(had to do my transmission mounts)
stabilizer links/bushings ..
shocks well I still got the original shocks on mine and they work awesome prolly OIL charged instead of gas but meh still work fine and bushing are solid
basically anything with rubber just goes :P over time
the later 2wds had a rack and pinion steering so no draglink.
be prepared to spend a weekend or longer on this
and while your at it you might as eell change the shocks if they are oem or bad.
