Why do you think you need one?

Anyhow, I understand that the fuel pump for 5.9 Rams and Durangos provides higher pressure, which would pretty much be useless on a 5.2.

What is your definition of a performance fuel pump? More pressure, more volume, longer life? There are no gains of upping the performance of your fuel pump (except for longer life) unless you modified your engine and there is a demand for more fuel. The fuel pump module/assembly in the tank has a regulator built into it so you could put the baddest, most awesomely flowing pump money could buy and it wouldn't make a difference because the regulator won't let the fuel out of the tank. I replaced my 5.2 with a 5.9 and I went with the cheapest fuel pump module I could find on-line. I did have to swap my '94 returnless fuel system for a '92-'93 return fuel system so I could up the fuel pressure for the demand of the larger displacement engine.

Depending on the year, 5.2's and 5.9's ran the exact same fuel pressure, year for year. I already did the leg work back when I was trying to figure out how to up my fuel pressure.

Kinda what I was suggesting, but not as well put. The fuel injection needs what it needs. Spending a bunch of extra money won't give more power, better fuel mileage, or make one's teeth brighter.

It might improve acceleration, imperceptibly, as your wallet will be a lot lighter!

Bigger injectors aren't going to do you any good unless you can change the tune in the PCM. The PCM will think you are still running the smaller (correct) injectors and will dump fuel. The O2 will pick it up and the PCM will correct it a little but not enough. Your best bet is to install your cam, ported heads, intake, and rockers, leave the stock injectors, and find someone with a scan tool to check you fuel trims. You want your short term and long term fuel trims to be as close to zero as possible. When I put my 5.9 in place of the 5.2 I continued to use the 5.2 PCM because everybody said it would run okay. It did run okay but my fuel trims told another story. My engine was running WAY lean. So I had to convert my returnless fuel system to a return so I could up the fuel pressure https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...-360-swap.html. So if anything, you'll run a little lean so you're not going to need the injectors, probably just up the fuel pressure a little.
