Hey guys I have a problem with my 1994 Dakota 4x4 not staying in four-wheel drive. The 4x4 works when I shift it into it but as im driving, the shift lever slowly slides back to 2H and when I stop it then disengages the 4x4. If anyone can tell me whats wrong that would be great.

 

i have the same problem with mine doing the same thing but i have to use my gloves too keep the lever over in 4 high and im looking for answers myself

 

i have not been under my truck yet to see how its hooked up does anyone know why it does that
