I have a 1987 dodge Dakota 4cyl 2.2l I'm wondering if there is any other vehicles that share the same distributor. I want a vacuum advanced distributor if possible.

 

Just about anything with a 2.2 or 2.5 from that time period. I remember, I think, some of the housings being indexed on the outside so you couldn't turn them past a certain point, BUT you can easily grind that off if you have to. You may have to find a reman.

 

The 2.2l and 2.5l distributors have flat side so you can set the timing easier. So I'm not sure if an old v6 distributor will work.
