Question Retrofitting a 91 gauge Cluster to a 93 Cluster??

I have a 1991, Automatic, 3.9, 4x4 LA Block Dakota and I absolutely HATE the instrument cluster on this thing. There is a HUGE Gas Gauge on the far left instead of the RPM thats on the Manual trucks. The speedo only goes to 85 and the marks are terrible.. The blank seat belt thing is just ridiculous..uhg

My question is: Can a Cluster out of a 93 Magnum hook up pin for pin on my 91 truck and work perfectly? In 93 the Automatic 3.9 Magnum clusters I have found are set up like the way I want them. I want the Gas Gauge relocated to a smaller spot on the right and an RPM gauge put where the gas gauge is. Thanks again, you all have been a wealth of knowledge for me. Appreciate the info you all have and give!

Cool! So im assuming that that means the part is universal to all those years 89-93! I hope so cause I really hate the Cluster I have now. Ill look into it. Thanks!

Forgot to ask.. Ive never replaced an entire Cluster before but how do I go about dealing with the Odometer? If I cant roll it over to where my current miles are and install it then I may not change it out. I dont want the "invalid odometer" hit on carfax. The truck is a 91 and only has 120k original miles. Ill have to suck it up and deal with it and put an aftermarket Tacho in if thats the case. :/

only way around that is a drill ive rolled em forward with a drill (speed regulated) before when i worked in a shop but always had to take pictures and register it as a swapped unit with MTO(ministry of Transportation Canada) and they came out verified it and signed offf that milage was accurate.. if bought new from dealer they wouldnt even give it to you till you brought old cluster for them to change the milage .. new cars its stored in a couple places ..
or find one thats as close as possible...

i know the low milage man.. i got 137300km's on my 92 so roughly 85300 miles and gawd help me if i need parts around here, took me hours to find a wiper arm... and it was new for 14 bucks... wreckers found one, wanted 50...

Swap the odometers only? ..take the Odometer out of the one I get at a yard and take my original one out and swap em? Put my original in the junk yard one and hook things up and ill be good?

When you take it apart you will see, every gage can be removed. I would atleast try to find one with the same motor but I have no experience on swapping clusters from v6 to v8 so on and so forth. I have done with swap with a 94 to a 94 very easy. Connecters sucked in the back but easy none the less
