Cab lights for a '96
Hello all. I have a '96 Dakota 4wd 5.2L V8 ext cab. I was thinking about adding some cab lights. Not LED, just the regular bulbs. Has anyone added cab lights to their truck? I don't know which style to get. I know Harbor Freight has a cheap set for about $10 but I'm afraid they might be too large for the Dakota and end up looking funny. But then again my truck isn't the greatest looking so I don't want to spend a ton either. Any ideas for lights??

many years ago my dad bought a 1982 3/4 HD ram. he wanted cab lights. i checked at the Dodge dealer, and they cost about $40.00 each. last year saw a O.E.M. kt for a dak for sale. but i got lied up with family and missed it. an O.E.M. might still be available. i was worrying about leekng water. so be cafe full on sealing it. in most states cab lights are NOT required BUT if a bulb s burned out you can get a ticket.

Ok thanks guys. I had a style like the Harbor Freight ones I had installed on a '94 F150 but it had the chrome bezel. I like the Harbor Freight because they don't have the chrome, I think it's just black or something. I think the black will blend in better with the dark green roof so maybe they won't look as big as I thought. I might check into an OEM style for the Dodge though. It seems like the OEM style on the Ram would be more compact style than the HF ones. I guess it's going to come down to price though.
