Default 1990 dak 3.9 wont start, really need help asap!

So my girls truck broke down a few months ago and im finally trying to get it back on the road again.

When she was driving it, it suddenly died. I got it to start for about 10 minutes after i messed with the new cap and rotor i installed. i was jiggling them around and she fired right up. Well it died 10 times down the road and hastn started since.

I was thinking it was a electrical issue since i wasn't getting spark from the coil. 1/2 the spark plugs on the passenger side were gapped bad.

The truck turns over, but no fire.

100k on motor
90' dak

What ive changed:
coil
cap
rotor
radiator
alternator
ECM/PCM
valve cover gaskets
battery
terminals
fuel filter
spark plugs
spark wires

I am now getting spark but the engine will not fire up! So I changed the fuel filter thinking maybe it was clogged. it was a bit, and i relieved the pressure. Well it still didnt start, i listened for the fuel pump and it kicks on.

I put some starter fluid in the TB hoping maybe it wasn't just getting gas and not firing. Well it should of fired but it didnt.

Its either the Carb or the timing chain broke or got loose.

Can anybody throw in some advice? Maybe confirm my suspicions or prove them wrong.

I need this truck running this week!

Wow, you changed a lot of stuff . . . did you change the pick up coil? Good luck with it.

Are the fuel injectors in the throttle body spraying any fuel down the bores?

The Jets were spraying last i checked.

But even with starter fluid, it should fire up briefly.

I even checked all the relays and splices. Nothing foul.

When you are turning it over do you get any signs of it wanting to cough? If not it is probably electrical still. Go through all of the wiring harness and check if you are getting spark from all of the plug wires.

If you are or it wants to run yet coughs extremely badly or chokes, check if the stem that the rotor sits on has a wobble of is leaking oil could be seizing and won't run.

goota make a trip to houston today so i wont have time to work on it till next week

Sometimes it will give a little *brump brump" and try to start up, you can tell the motor wants too.

Last thing i did was check all the spark plugs, they are firing off ' zap zap".

Problem is it doesn't even want to get past cranking.

I know i have air and spark for sure. Not sure about the jets now. I really need to go out there any move the distrib and see if my timing chain skipped a tooth.
